Become An AMS Ambassador
The Adoptee Mentoring Society Ambassador Program is a bold leadership opportunity for adoptees ready to shape a more empowered, connected, and visible adoptee community. Our Ambassadors are current or former AMS mentees who have experienced the transformative power of mentorship firsthand—and are eager to help others access that same support.
Advocate For Adoptees
As an AMS Ambassador, you’ll help drive its growth and impact. Ambassadors are changemakers who take initiative, designing and executing their own creative strategies to amplify our mission. From hosting local gatherings, to sharing stories online, to leading fundraising drives, Ambassadors lead with authenticity, vision, and purpose.
You’ll collaborate closely with AMS staff and fellow Ambassadors to build momentum and bring fresh energy to our growing network.
The Ambassador Pledge
-
Spread Our Message
Ambassadors actively engage on social media and in their community to raise awareness about AMS.
-
Positive Engagement
Ambassadors model respectful dialogue, promote adoptee-centered resources, and spark awareness with integrity. Their public engagement reflects the values of AMS.
-
Ethical Storytelling
AMS ambassadors honor adoptee narratives by sharing with consent, context, and care. They protect the dignity of adoptees by resisting oversimplified or sensational stories, choosing truth over impact.
